Hobbit Den

Hobbit Den is a large timber playground den designed to give children an enclosed, imaginative place for role play, reading, talking and calmer outdoor activity. It works well as a focal point within a playground while still feeling like a separate retreat space.

The den is built from premium grade treated timber and marine grade plywood, with the structure raised off the ground to help prevent moisture damage. The roof can be left as treated timber or finished with felt tiles, and a rear door can be included for easy access.

Typical size: width 2.5m, length 3.0m, height 1.5m. The Hobbit Den sits within our Huts & Dens range and can be discussed as a standalone feature or as part of a wider playground shelter layout.
