Playground Seating
Create places to sit, talk, read and learn with playground seating for schools, nurseries and community spaces. From an individual bench to a larger gathering area, we can help you find a design and layout that suits your space.
Choosing seating for your playground
Think about how you would like people to use the space: somewhere to sit and talk, a table for activities, or a place to bring a group together. These examples show some of the ways each seating style can work.
Benches and tables
- Playground Benches offer backless seating as individual benches or straight and angled runs, with bespoke layouts for different playground needs.
- Park Benches have a backrest and armrests for seated breaks and conversation, beside paths, overlooking play areas or within school garden areas.
- Picnic Benches combine a table with attached seats, giving a group a shared surface for lunch, drawing, books and outdoor lessons.
- Hexagonal Benches arrange seating around a tree or central feature, making that part of the grounds somewhere to sit and gather.
Storytelling and play areas
- A Storytelling Chair gives the reader a distinctive seat for stories and group time, with surrounding seating chosen to suit the group.
- Mushroom Seats provide colourful individual places to sit, in small groups or alongside creative activities and play features.
