Zip Wires Gallery
Installed playground zip wire examples showing launch platforms, clear run routes and site layout ideas.
This Zip Wires Gallery brings together installed AllOutPlay playground zip wire examples, showing launch platforms, clear run routes and open play-space layouts.
The images are intended as visual reference when thinking about route length, starting height, run-out space, surfacing and how a zip wire could sit within a wider playground.
Planning A Zip Wire Layout
Zip wire layouts depend on the available space, level changes, access, supervision and safety surfacing. Where a natural slope is not available, a launch platform can help create the starting height.
